'Taru Villas - 906', Hikkaduwa [Sri Lanka]
906, Hikkaduwa is a cosy and intimate private villa located in Hikkaduwa, a popular beach destination on the South-Western coast of Sri Lanka. Nestled amongst sun-kissed, dazzling white beaches with a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean, the villa is an oasis of calm, in a beautiful garden which leads directly onto the famous Hikkaduwa beach. The entire villa is available on rent and hence it is a perfect choice for a romantic get-away, a family adventure or even a relaxed weekend with a handful of friends.
The villa has two deluxe bedrooms, designed in a contemporary Sri Lankan style. Both the rooms are fully air-conditioned and overlook the garden and ocean beyond. The rooms are double bedded with en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water.
Having only two rooms, the villa has a policy of renting out the entire villa on an exclusive basis to ensure total seclusion.
There is no TVs in the bedrooms, however for those who require TV, there is one in the living room. There is free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) throughout the villa.
The villa is fully staffed and a variety of meals ranging from traditional Sri Lankan to Western favourites, is available in the extensive a la carté menu.
The villa does not serve liquors, however the guests are allowed to bring their own liquor, without paying any corkage.
The guest can either choose to relax by the pool or read a book in the spacious verandah overlooking the garden and the beautiful Hikkaduwa beach. Guest can also explore the Hikkaduwa beach, which is quite popular for surfing, diving or simply relaxing and sunset strolls.
