Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai [India]


Built in 1903, Taj Mahal Palace and Tower is Mumbai's first harbour landmark and the site of the first licensed bar in the city. For more than a century, the Taj has played an intrinsic part in the life of the city, hosting Maharajas, dignitaries and eminent personalities from across the globe.

The Taj Club Rooms: Located on the top floors of the Palace wing, The Taj Club Rooms offer breath-taking views of the city, pool or the Arabian. The rooms provide exclusive services and amenities to guests including access to The Palace Lounge, the 24-Hours Butler service and the meeting rooms in the Business Centre.

Taj Mahal Palace Suites: The Taj Mahal Palace houses 44 generously appointed suites further classified as :-

  • Executive Suites: Smart, contemporary living spaces with a bedroom, bath, dining room, study and living room.
  • Luxury Suites: Luxury Suites add a dining room to the already spacious living room and bedroom area. The privileges of the Taj Club are also included.
  • Grand Luxury Suites: Apart from the ameneties offered in the above two suites , The Grand Luxury suites offer stunning views of the Arabian Sea and The Gateway of India. The privileges of the Taj Club are also included.

Taj Mahal Signature Suites: The two signature suites; the Rajput Suite in all its Rajasthani splendor and the classic Ravi Shankar Suite, a spacious duplex are an epitome of luxury with grand interiors, spacious living spaces and taj signature amenities.

The Presidential Suites: Named The Tata suite, the Presidential suite is a 5000 sq ft of sprawling space with 15 graciously appointed rooms offering the ultimate in luxury and elegance along with cutting edge modern technology. With 13 dedicated staff members to cater to the guests every need the Tata Suite marries architectural splendor with splendid service. The suite comes with a personal spa, equipped with a personalized Jiva spa menu, steam room, sauna and 2 professional masseurs.

Wasabi By Morimoto

Golden Dragon

Golden Dragon has been serving fine Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine in Mumbai since 1973. It features an elaborate a la carte menu, provincial specialties and a Sunday Dim Sum brunch buffet containing extensive varieties of Dim Sum. The restaurant is particularly noted for its live kitchen plating delicious steamed seafood, Peking Duck, and authentic Beggar's Chicken which is prepared over 24 hours of slow marinating and cooking.

Masala Kraft

Masala Kraft with its contemporary Indian cuisine is a balance of the classic with the modern. Shamiana, the original coffee shop of the city, offers an all-day dining experience with an a la carte menu to suit every mood and palate, from breakfast through to dinner. It is best known for the elaborate weekend brunches with foot tapping music by live band. In the evenings one can choose from an a la carte selection of local, Asian, and Western favourites accompanied by India's first and only wine buffet featuring Indian and International wines.

Sea Lounge

Sea lounge is considered to be a city institution for traditional Afternoon Tea featuring an elaborate buffet spread of classic English delicacies and Local Indian favourites complemented with a selection of the world's finest teas and coffees. Aquarius is an outdoor poolside restaurant it has an exclusive dining option for the resident guests.
