Accommodation

Deluxe Garden View Rooms: These rooms afford charming vistas of the manicured croquet lawns and natural rockeries, dotted with native wildflowers.The rooms are furnished with a luxurious king size bed, Victorian style bedside lamps, teak bedside dressers, an ottoman, a writing desk and hand carved, sun crested chairs.

Premier Valley View: Located on the first and second floors of the hotel, these rooms afford uninterrupted views of the valley, villages and vast cedar forests surrounding Wildflower Hall.These rooms are carpeted with plush rugs, into which guests can sink their toes after a long walk in the cedar forests of our grounds.

Premier Mountain View: Situated on the third floor of the hotel, these rooms offer breathtaking views of the Himalayas and sacred Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganges.Softly lit by Victorian style bedside lamps, furnished with a two poster, king size bed, a richly upholstered armchair, footstool and ottoman, and topped with an antique style ceiling fan with wooden blades and brass fittings, these luxurious rooms are charmingly colonial.The rooms are bright, comfortable spaces where guests can enjoy 24 hour in-room dining, a variable pressure shower or a warm bath in a full length tub surrounded by exquisite coffee and cream coloured Spanish marble.

Deluxe suite: The Deluxe Suite comes with a living room with a fireplace that lends a charming colonial ambience to this suite. The room offers breathtaking panorama of the Greater Himalayas.This suite is romantically furnished with a king size bed, an ottoman and a vanity table. Guests may take in views of the snow peaked mountains, wispy clouds and sunshine dappled upon the tops of the cedar trees.The fireplace at the heart of the living room lends a charming colonial ambience to this suite.

The Lord Kitchener suite: Dominated by a wall-to-wall window that frames inimitable views of the forest and the Himalayas, the Lord Kitchener suite comes with a comfortable living room, a bright master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and a spectacular Spanish marble bathroom and a guest bedroom, with twin beds, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom.A watercolour of Lord and Lady Curzon parading on elephants and photographs of Lord Kitchener in regimental attire lend colonial charm to this suite.


Dining

The Wildflower Hall has two restaurants and a bar that offer the choice of fine international cuisine and traditional Indian cooking. The restaurants at the resort are:

The Restaurant: The main restaurant at the resort is a bright space that spans a smart indoor dining area, a charming glass conservatory and an outdoor terrace that offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. This multicuisine restaurant specializes in Indian, Asian and Continental cuisine and can be customized based on special preferences of the guests.

The Lutyens Hall: Overlooking the gardens, the charming Lutyens hall dining lit by chandeliers and crystal wall lamps is a place for private dining. Guests can order from the restaurant menu or place special dining requests, which the chef would be happy to fulfil.

The Cavalry Bar: Decked with antique war memorabilia and furnished with a rich, plum leather bar stool, and an evergreen silk sofa placed beside the grand, Spanish marble fireplace, the Cavalry Bar, serves an array of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including a cup of tea or coffee.

Apart from the above, the Wildflower has many other alfresco dining and picnic lunch options. The guests can enjoy picnic lunches in the hills and the forests or enjoy an unforgettably romantic evening at the gazebo amidst the tranquillity of the Himalayas.

At Wildflower Hall, guests can refresh with many activities like the nature walks, rafting, cycling or yoga. The resort offers guided nature trails with picnic lunch in the beautiful cedar forests around the Resort or at The Peak", a quaint colonial bungalow 20 minute drives from the Resort.

The resort offers invigorating one-hour walk along the delightful wild strawberry trail, skirting the Shimla Water Catchment Sanctuary. The trail offers spectacular views through the lush green cedar forest reserve and is concluded with a bespoke breakfast at the delightful picnic spot, with magnificent views through the sun-dappled forest.

Wildflower Hall offers exclusive massage, yoga and Ayurvedic treatments at bespoke locations around the hotel and grounds. The open air whirlpool at the hotel affords magnificent views across the Greater Himalayas, while the indoor pool – lit and adorned by overhead crystal chandeliers - is temperature controlled throughout the year.

The resort also has a modern fitness suite, fully equipped and air conditioned and tennis. Court that is transformed into an ice rink in the winter months.
