Lantern is a boutique hotel perched at the edge of the turquoise seas in Mirissa on Sri Lanka's south coast. The suite also features a balcony with privacy division screens and a large living area with couches and seats.

Ocean View Garden Suite: Offering panoramic views of the ocean, this is a luxurious suite nestled within the landscaped garden. This ideal family suite comprises of a spacious bedroom with a living space separated with recycled timber louvered screens. The suite also features a spacious Veranda outdoor space connected to the gardens and a large living area with couches and seats.

Villas: Four-Bedroom Luxury Beachfront Villas, built in pairs to give one the flexibility of booking a villa on it's own or add in more rooms to suite your requirement. Below are some of the features of the villas:

• Each villa comes with the services of your own personal butler and chef.
• The villa has 2 Master Bedrooms on the 1st floor with magnificent Ocean Views, each with an open planned screened bathroom.

Through a collaboration of Chef Charles Dissanayake successfull Sri Lankan celebrity chef in NY and a local Chef Sumith a master craftsman of Sri Lankan cuisine, Lantern offers international cuisine with unique local flavors, a selection of mouth-watering traditional Sri Lankan dishes and tapas-style barbecue nights.

The experienced chefs source their fresh vegetables, herbs and fruits from the hotel organic garden and select the best catch from the sea. The hotel has a fully equipped urban kitchen and open access pantry to enable the guests to freely interact with the chef and staff, and even get behind the stove, if they wish.
