Majestically located on the shores of picturesque Lake Pichola, Fateh Prakash Palace was built by Maharana Fateh Singh, one of the greatest Maharanas of Mewar. The palace originally constructed as an exclusive venue for royal functions, has been meticulously preserved and converted into a deluxe heritage hotel.
A part of the City Palace complex, the hotel features distinctive turrets and majestic domes and seems to have floated straight out of a fairytale. Relish a luxurious stay here with regal interiors, dotted with miniature paintings, portraits and royal artifacts.

Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel offers 65 plush rooms and suites to its guests. The rooms are categorized into:
Dovecote Rooms: There are 21 Dovecote rooms and most of the rooms face the Lake Pichola. These are modern rooms built in the new wing.
Dovecote Premier Suite: There are 44 suites and all the suites feature period furniture, original miniature paintings and portraits of the royal family.
All the rooms and suites at Fateh Prakash have private sitting areas and are equipped with various room facilities such as air-conditioning, satellite TV, international direct dial telephone, mini-bar, etc.

The Sunset Terrace: Consistently rated as one of the top restaurants of India, the Sunset Terrace offers dramatic views of Udaipur's most famous landmark palaces. It is an open area, laid with marble topped tables, overlooking the beautiful panorama of Lake Pichola. The open-to-sky restaurant offers an eclectic variety of Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines while taking in the magnificent natural scenery. There is an open bar counter here, also an open kitchen. The mornings have live jal tarang music and the evenings see live santoor-vaadan.
The Surya Darshan Bar: This is the lounge bar at the palace and the best place to relish an English afternoon tea. Here you can sit back with a drink and watch the sunset over the hills. One can also enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Apart from the above, Fateh Prakash Palace also boasts access to all the amenities available at The City Palace Complex and that includes the four restaurants; Paantya, The Pool Deck, Panera and the Palki Khana at the Shiv Niwas Palace and the two restaurants; The Darikhana and the Picholi bar on Jagmandir Island Palace.
Fateh Prakash Palace offers many experiences and activities to its guests. The hotel has its very own, totally unique crystal gallery, which boasts the largest collection of crystal in the world.
