Bujera Fort is a spectacular, newly built fortress, in the Aravali hills, on the west side of Lake Pichola, with views of the City Palace, Lake Palace and the Monsoon Palace and Fateh Garh Castle. Constructed on purely traditional lines, with eighty six hand carved stone columns and many Jarokas in local stone, the boutique hotel is gorgeous and creates the feeling of being in a centuries old building.

The fort has a central courtyard with a heated swimming pool, beautifully designed like a step well. Surrounding this are flower filled gardens with many secluded areas and fountains . Inside there is a library with bar, television, and a working fireplace for colder winter evenings. A drawing room with a silver grand piano and a breakfast room for dining when the weather is fresh.
Cottages: The cottages comprises 3 double bedrooms (two with balconies) with ensuite marble bathrooms which, like the fort, have separate tubs and showers. The cottage has an inside sitting room with a working fireplace and a sit out. It has its own garden with a plunge pool and dining pavilion and there is a roof terrace with spectacular views of the city. The cottage also has its own small kitchen
Bungalow: The Bungalow comprises of 2 double, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom with marble shower rooms. It is set within a very pretty, private walled garden with a plunge pool and deep verandah, with fireplace. It has its own entrance from the road, or can be accessed from the Fort. The bungalow also has its own small kitchen.
The hotel offers a multicuisine menu using the freshest of ingredients that is either home grown or sourced from within twenty miles, organic wherever possible. The hotel serves both continental and Indian food with a small menu that means the produce will be fresh and freshly cooked, with as little oil and ghee as possible, promoting a regime of wellness without being evangelical about it.
