Dubu Suite: A Javenese style house, featuring heavenly four poster bed, cosy lounge, ensuite bathroom and a beautiful open air bathtub. The suite has a private infinity-edged curved swimming pool with stunning views overlooking Koggala Lake. This suite is the furthest from the main part of the hotel, so guest can either walk, or the hotel can arrange a tuk-tuk.
Peacock Suite: The suite offers sensational views over the tea estate and Koggala Lake. It has a romantic king-size bed, comfortable living area and its own library as well as two bathrooms with outdoor showers. There is a pretty courtyard garden where couples can enjoy a private dinner with candlelight under the star.
Hellaconia Suite: The suite is in a most luxuriant garden setting and offers total privacy. The suite has a king-size four poster bed, bathroom with double outdoor showers and also a plunge pool.
Hibiscus Suite: This is the latest addition to the hotel offering incredible views overlooking the tea estate and Koggala Lake. Dressed in blues, the suite has a slight Meditterian feel and includes a beautifully draped four poster bed and a private pool.
Tamarind Suite: Tucked away under the canopy of mature trees is the private and charming Tamarind Suite. Filled with blue and white antique porcelain, the suite offers a king-size wrought iron four poster bed and a large veranda overlooking the tea estate. There is an ensuite bathroom with twin showers and aromatic toiletries.
Mango Suite: The suite is a bird watcher's paradise, with its wide veranda as a vantage point. Designed for couples with a romantic king-size four poster bed made from teak, and 'his and her' showers and hand basins. The suite has brethtaking views overlooking the jungle tree tops filling the air with the exotic sounds of nature
Nelum Suite: Accessed by a flight of steps from beside the Living Pavilion, this suite has sensational views looking towards Koggala Lake. The suite has cool green and white tone interiors with a beautifully draped wrought iron four poster bed, a comfortable sitting area bedside the window and a wide veranda to take in the awe-inspiring view. In addition, there are double showers in the luxury bathroom and two sun loungers with a private garden.
Araliya Suite: The suite has a wide veranda overlooking the tea estate, providing the perfect viewing spot of the local wildlife. The room is inspired by the Orient with warm colours and a mixture of Asian antiquities. The suite has a king-size four poster bed made from teak wood, comfortable sitting area and a bathroom with a large double shower for couples to share.
Garden Suite: The suite has a beautiful painted English 18th century style four poster bed, along with a selection of oil paintings and antiques. The high ceilings ensure the room remains cool all year round, and there is a wide veranda with views of the garden for relaxing and/or eating - shared with the Tea Suite. Step outside to the ensuite bathroom where the refreshing outdoor rain shower can be found amongst tropical foliage.
The Tea Suite: Sharing its veranda with the Garden Suite, the Tea Suite has a pair of antique colonial style four poster single beds which can be converted into a king-size double bed. The high ceiling keeps the room cool and ventilated and the spacious veranda is a wonderful shady spot overlooking the gardens with comfortable lounge furnishings. The suite features a desk and an ensuite bathroom with double vanities and tropical outdoor rain shower.
The guests can eat when and where they want: by the pool, in the open-sided dining pavilion, or on cushions underneath a candlelit gazebo in the beautiful tropical gardens.
The hotel uses only fruits, vegetables and herbs grown on the estate, supplemented with a selection of the freshest local produce to create simple, fusion dishes and classic Sri Lankan curries. Two of the three resident chefs have trained in Thailand, and offer a mouth-watering range of Thai dishes.
At breakfast there is a selection of local specialities as well as Western dishes. Lunch can be three courses, or guests can choose from the Snack Menu. Dinner is a gourmet affair and for those interested in a romantic dinner the hotel can set up a table in the garden for a meal under the stars. Hotel also offers a calorie-counted series of menus.
